On their tour of Christmas markets in North Rhine-Westphalia, Gina Osthoff and Markus Hoffmann, presenters on the WDR, the regional TV broadcaster, also paid a visit to the "Home of the Gnomes". In their view, "This is the most charming of the Christmas markets in Cologne – with a traditional atmosphere in a picturesque setting."
